The investigation reveals 1/10 of the middle-aged persons in Europe take antidepressants
Depression has already become an increasingly serious problem of modern society, a newest investigation that Germany and Britain researchers finish reveals, Europe middle aged philtrum takes the proportion against depressed medicine and is up to 1/10, researchers think this phenomenon is very troubling.
British Warwick university released the announcement and said, the researchers and German counterparts of this school investigated the life state of the people of Europe 27 countries about 30,000 a few days ago, the result reveals, took and resisted the depressed medicine in the European adult in about 1/13 12 months before being polled, this proportion is up to 1/10 in the middle aged crowd.
Researchers draw and take the curve of proportion against depressed medicine according to the age bracket, the result demonstrates the obvious " middle aged crisis " ,Namely the depressed intensity of crowd over 40 years old is the highest. And except age factor, unemployment, schooling low divorcing etc., having obvious relevance with the depressed intensity.
Andrew Professor Oswald who carries on research says, the Europeans live in richer, safer environment, but should take antidepressants if there are 1/10 of the middle-aged persons, perhaps should probe into the reason among them.
